FOURTH TEST DRAWN.

ENGLISHMEN 376 FOR SIX. SOUTH AFRICA 247 FOR FOUR. A. and N.Z. CAPETOWN. Feb. 13. The fourth test match ended in a draw. /The M.C.C. team carried their overnight score of 294 for five -wickets to 376 for six, and then declared the innings closed in the hope of getting South Africa out before time, but they were unable to dislodge the Africans during the afternoon. When the . stumps were drawn the South Africans had lost four wickets for 247 runs. Taylor's totals 101, was the result of excellent play all round the •wicket against well-judged bowling. Bain fell overnight, but did not affect the wicket. The weather was hot. The attendance totalled 10,000. Following are the scores:-— ..... M.C.C.

Bowling Analysis.—Kennedy took three •wickets for 70 runs, Macaulay one for 27, Fender none for 60, Jupp none for 39, Woolley none for 26. The four test matches have ended all square. The first, was won by South Africa', the second by M.C.C., and the last two were drawn. The Marylebono Cricket Club has authorised Mr. Mann to play a deciding match.
