MANUREWA TOWN BOARD.
The Manurewa Town Board met on Monday. There were present:--Sexton (chairman), McCalnim* -v Butterworth, Cox, Gallagher, Lttpton, and : Wood. Mr. M. Friedlander submitted - plans tor the subdivision of his estate. ;; : He declined to make the reserve as requested by -the board. The 'clerk was instructed to ascertain* if f|he clause governing this matter in the Municipal Corporations Act, ; 1920, applied to town boards. The Puriri ; Park Company .refused :' : to entertain a proposal for, a cash settlement in purchase of the bush reserve. The chairman undertook to interview their solicitors on the matter, -■-:,. ■■-,-'' ■'■' '"*': ■'■' With regard •to the;, transfer of :r. £ 800 from, the Jeliooe Road loan to the board's general account, the Treasury, replied that an !
