SIKI GIVES TROUBLE.
FRACAS IN PARIS BAR.
WAITEK THREATENED. LONDON. Oct. 21. " Take to the woods " was the advice offered a well-known Australian writer, who, after Johnson defeated Burns, suggested that this need not have happened if the Quakers had left Johnson's ancestors alone, for Jack would still have been up a tree in Central Africa. The French waiter in an American bar in Paris had no chance of 'taking to the woods " when Siki threatened violence after the barman had rofused to serve him. Siki, dressed in a stylish blue suit, with winged collar and butterfly bow, and big diamonds flashing on his fingers, has been invading American resorts in company with French men and women. Siki made as if to hurl a glass dish at Dempsey's portrait, but he and his friends contented themselves with smashing glasses on. the floor. It is stated that this anti-American irtove has been organised for mysterious motives, it is considered that its pursuance will make it impossible for Siki to box in America, lest colour riots should ensue.
