BISHOP'S BAN ON DUKE.
LEGALITY QUESTIONED. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Oct. 29. Lord Birkenhead states that the action of the Bishop of Oxford in barring the Duke of Marlborough from attending the Diocesan Conference because he had been divorced and remarried is as unchristian as it is arrogant. The legality of the action is gravely doubtful.
