LEVIES FOR SALARIES. A WAIRARAPA PROTEST, [BI TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] MASTERTON. Thursday. A conference of representatives of Wairarapa local bodies was held to-day to protest against the large increase in the levies toward the salaries of sanitary inspectors. It was decided to forward a strong protest to the Minister, and to arrange a deputation to the Hon. C. J. Parr during his visit to Masterton on September 23.
