♦ CALLS TIME FOR WRESTLERS. HALL LIGHTS TURNED OUT. A wrestling bout in the Town Hall concert chamber, between M. J. Sunni, of Dargaville, and ' Nugget" Thompson. of Auckland, came to an abrupt close last nicrht, on tro decision of the caretaker that time was up. The bout, which commenced at ten o'clock, had lasted a full hoar, and there was no indication of a fall. The caretaker announced to the officials that the time limit for the lighting of the hall had expired, but contestants, officials, and spectators alike desired the contest to continue. The matter was finally settled by the lights being turned down, and the referee was practically forced into deciding the match * draw. The gathering slowly dispersed, carrying on animated discussions on the contretemps.
