Iho Buenos Aires correspondent of tho Chicago Tribuno stales that Germany has accepted a five-year credit from Argentina of 150 million pesos (£30,000,000), of which 50,000,000 pesos will he expended in the purchase of Argentine meat., wool, and hides, and 100,000,000 pesos in cereals, tho bulk of which will bo skipped to Russia for tho purposo of obtaining materials essential to German industry.

It is understood that tho Allies objected to the Russian foaturo of the loan during the negotiations at Genoa, on the ground tint it would provo a powerful eo-eflicient of tho Husso-German Alliance. Further, it was proposed that Germany should ship German goods to tho value of 40,000.000 pesos to Argentina. Tho Allies objected to this arrangement, on the ground that it would retard the payment of reparation. Argentina objected to interference, on tho ground that tho loan would rehabilitate Argentine agriculture, which is suffering from inability to find a market.
