LONDON, March 14.
At the wool sale to-day there was a large offering of Merinos, which met with good competition from French, German, and Yorkshire buyers at full late rates. The selection of crossbreds was poor and prices were unchanged. The prices of alipes were also unchanged.

At the wool sales, prices for good fleeces were 15 per cent, lower, for
medium and inferior sorts 10 to IS par cent, lower, for good skirtingß 5 per cent, lower, and for medium skirtings 7£ per cent, lower than the ratios at the last sales.
