SUDDEN DEATHS.
A PAEROA BLACKSMITH. [VX TELEQBAPH.—OWN CORBESPONDENT.] WAIHI, Saturday. Mr. Alfred Allan, 50 years of age, a blacksmith employed by the Thames Valley Power Board, died suddenly in the workshop at Paeroa this morning. About 11 o'clock he complained to his mate, Mr. John Palmer, of feeling hot, walked outside, and dropped dead. Deceased was a married mar., and his widow and family reside at Karangahake. CASE OF HEART FAILURE. [bx txlegbaph.—own correspondent.] HAMILTON. Saturday. An inquest was held before Mr. H. A Young, S.M., coroner, at Hamilton today on the body of Thomas Quinn, aged about 65, a resident of Putaruru, who died on the railway platform at Hamilton yesterday. A post-mortem examination was made by Dr. Waddcll, who certified the cause of death as lobar pneumonia, producing heart failure. The coroner returned a verdict according to the medical evidence.
