TATJRANGA. Friday. The Tauranga Bowling Club'd annual tournament concluded to-day in fine wcathor. The results were as follows: —
NINTH ROUND. Section A.—West End, 24, v. Frankton, 17; Tauranga No. 1 22, v. Waihi, 16; Wellington, 17, v. Te Pulie No. 1, 15; Cambridge, 27, v. Te Koa, 8. Stanley Bay, a bye. Section 8.-Te Aroha. 22, v. Te Puko No. 2, 19; Whakatane, 21, v. Hamilton, 22; Eotorua. 24. v. Waikino, 18; Marama, 15, v. Poneonby, 10. Tauranga No. 2, a bye.
SEMI-FINAL. Cambridge met Tauranga, »nd the game was in doubt until the last head, Tauranga winning, 12—9,
The game between Rotorua and Stanley Bay proved an easy victory for Rotorua, the game ending 17—6.
THE PINAL.
Crowley (Tauranga) played off in the final w;th Maneon (Rotorua). Rotorua commenced well and had a lead of five on the seventh head. Tauranga crept Up to nine all on the eleventh head. Tauranga then forged ahead. At the end of the twentieth head, the score was: Tauranga, 15, Rotorua, 14. The game concluded in failing light, the final score being: Tauranga, 17, Rotorua, 14 After the match Mr. J. G. Green, president of the Tauranga Club, presented the trophies to the winners and runners-up.
