CANTERBURY V WELLINGTON. [by telegbaph.—press association.] CHRISTCHDRCH, Friday. In the first day's play of the Wildmg Shield challenge tennis match Canterbury won five matches to Wellington's one. The best match of the day was that between Greenwood and Swanaton, the latter giving a fine display of accurate driving. Ollivier out-classed Salmond, and Wilding wsb too clever for Andrews.
