Mr. W. .T. Poison, president of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, who has been visiting North Auckland on business connected with the union, left yesterday foi Gisborne. ' }
Dr. W. W. Sedgwick. Anglican Bishop of Waiapu, is visiting the Gisborne district. He intends visiting various centres on tho East Coast as far as Opotiki, the tour occupying about two months.
