FARMER AS SHEEP THIEF.
ACCUSED ADMITS GUILT. [by telegraph.—press association.] WANGANUI, Tuesday.
Matthew Mulcahy, a young farmer, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court to-day to stealing 200 sheep in April last at Ruatiti. His partner, David Hyde, also pleaded guilty to receiving the sheep knowing they were stolen. Both were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
