AUCKLAND LADIES' TOURNEY. The championship tournament of the Auckland Ladies' Golf Club was continued at the Middlemore links yesterday. The semi-finals of the senior and junior championships were piayed in the morning, and Miss M. Payton and Mrs. Marshall will contest the final in the forme* event, and Mesdames Brown 'and Armstrong will meet in the final of the junior championship. A medal handicap was decided in the "afternoon, and in conjunction with it the teams' match was played, Remuera A winning. Results:— Senior Championship.—Seini-Snal: Miss M. Payton beat Miss Buttle. 3 np and 1 to play; Mrs. Marshal! beat Miss S. Payton. 5 and 2. Junior Championship.—-Semi-final: Mrs. Brown beat Miss M. Hellaby. 4 and 5; and Mrs. Armstrong beat Mrs. Martin. 6 and Medal Handicap.—Seniors: Miss S. Payton, 89 gross. 8 handicap—Bl net; Mrs Marshall. 96. 14—S2: Mrs. Hughes, 99. 16— S3: Miss Ridmgs. 104. 20—84. Juniors - Miss I. Ruddick. 106. 23—83: Miss D. Morton, 114. 30—84: Miss M. Clark. 118. 32—56. The C Grade: Miss D. Bayley. Teams Match.—Remuera A (Misses S. and M. Payton. M. Ridings and I. Lever). 337; North Shore (Mesdames Hughes and Corbett. Misses Alison and Wilson). 349: Epsom (Mesdames Buttle. Marshall, and Msrnhy. MJ«"! M Macfarlane). 350. The pjp,y off for Tuesday's Junior Bogey match Between Mrs. Richmond and Miss Lever resulted in a win for the latter. A four-ball, best-ball bogey matoh will be played this afternoon To-morrow morning a 15-hole bogey consolation match and a 12-hole medal consolation for C grade players will be decided. An approaching and ratlins corr!_T>etit;on will also be held. The final of the senior and junior championtiiips will be played to-morrow on the arrival of the 12.10 p.m. train *.nd will be followed by a. driving competition.
