Y.W.C.A. SUMMER CAMP.
The Y.W.C.A. is continuing its policy of catering especially for the needs of girls of limited means, and on Christmas Eve opened the third summer camp at Waikowhai, which until the end of January will afford an opportunity for girls to have a pleasant and inexpensive holiday where they can indulge in sea bathing and rambles in the bush. The girls are accommodated in a large roomy house overlooking the Manukau Harbour, and if the present fine weather continues manv will make use of the balconies for sleeping out. Miss Fisher, the physical director, will spend some time at the camp, and already 47 girls have arranged for holidays thero. Interested friends are constantly bringing in to the association building gifts of fruit, vegetables and other comforts to add to the pleasure of the holiday-makers. 0 »^^
