MASSED BANDS' CONCERT.

Aivexcelleut programme was rendered by the massed bands in Albert Park yesterday afternoon and the items were received with warm applause by a large gathering. The massed bands played two marches, "Fighting Mac " and " Colonel's Parade," with good effect. Among the numbers rendered by the Temperance Guards Band was " Tivoli Favourites." while the Auckland City Band contributed " Pirates of Penzance." The Garrison Artillery Band's numbers included " Simeon " and "Up From Somerset." " Lucia di Lammermor " was played by the Coast Defence J3and, and " Squire's Songs " by the Third Infantry Regimental Band.
