500 CULPRITS
PUNISHED.
A. and N.Z. LONDON, Oct. 4. Bulgaria has informed the French and Allied Governments that as a result of various commissions and courts-martial over 500 -war criminals have been sentenced, some to capital punishment, for breaahes of the code of warfare. M. Stamboulinski, the Bulgarian Prime Minister, is coming to London in connection with the first' payment of the indemnity due in January, which 'is £1,450,000.
