RUSSIAN SUSPECT ARRESTED. AN ANARCHIST ARSENAL,' A. and N.Z. NEW YORE, Oct. 4. Federal agents expect' to make a score of arrests in connection - with the .Wall Street : explosion, as the result of the arrest at Pittsburgh of Florean Zelenska, a Russian anarchist. Zelenska was captured after a fierce fight with , the police in an hotel roof, in which quantities of dynamite, percussion >- caps, and fuses, were found. A clue was given .the police <by a railway traveller, who' overheard a conversation between Zelenska and another man. The police state that Zelenska was on the way to New York with a bagful of explosives to cause another explosion. Investigations in New York reveal that Zelenska's lodgings in Brooklyn were filled with Bolshevik" and anarchist literature. It was also discovered that he left the room carrying - a suspicious-looking bag an hour before the explosion, and vanished immediately after. | v The New York Board of Aldermen has granted the Police Commissioner, Mr. R. i E./Enright, a contingent fund of £40,000 with which to investigate revolutionary : activities, to conduct secret service work, and to pursue' anarchists throughout the nation independently of the New York City's police force and the Federal authorities".'
