VISIT TO WEST COAST. WELCOME AT GREYMOUTH. [BY TELEGEAPH. —rRESS ASSOCIATION.! GREYMOUTH, Tuesday. The Governor-General and the Countess of Liverpool were welcomed to-day, and entertained at luncheon after the public reception. They visited Hokitika, and returned at 5.30 p.m., being the guests of the Mayor this evening. The party leaves for Westport in the morning, and will rejoin the steamer Tutanckai, proceeding to Bluff. . . B In the course of his speech, the Gover-nor-General referred to tie great resources and possibilities of the West Coast, which would rapidly develop as soon as the present isolation was replaced by adequate means of transportation.
