HOCKEY DISPUTE.

CRITICISM OF REFEREE. RESOLUTIONS WITHDRAWN. [BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS association- 1 CHEISTCHUPXH. Thursday. At a meeting of the Canterbury Hockey Association the four resolutions" passed by it in connection with the shield match Auckland v. Canterbury were withdrawn as requested by the New Zealand Association. The following resolutions were carried: "That the Canterbury Hockey Association executive and representative team did accept Mr. Kent's rulings and have not appealed against, his decisions in this particular match." " It may be a matter of opinion as to whether it was diplomatic on our part to pass the resolutions, but we still maintain it was quite within our rights to do so.
