The Peace Treaty Bill, providing for the ratification of the Treaty with Germany has passed all its stages. In moving the second reading, the Federal Prime Minister, Mr. W. M. Hughes, explained that the Bill gave effect to the clause by which the clearing-house method of settling enemy debts or crossdebts between Germany and Australia would be adopted.
