The Daily Express states that Tribitch Lincoln's motive in seeking to interview the ex-Kaiser was to sell his story to an American newspaper at, a fancy figure, hut he failed. Lincoln attempted to sell his story of his alleged ill-treatment in England to several American newspapers, but all refused.
