WAR SERVICE MEMORIAL.

SACRED HEART COLLEGE.

The memorial celebrations in connection with the war service of old boys of the Sacred Heart College will take place on Sunday next. Over 220 old boys left on active service; 40 made the supreme sacrifice, and many more were wounded. The Old Boys' Association has erected a monument worthy to perpetuate the patriotism of its soldier members. On Sunday, at 11 a.m., Solemn High Mass for the souls of old boys fallen in the war will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Cathedral. The Rev. Father Doyle will preach. Old boys will assemble at 10.45. At the Sacred Heart College at 3 p.m. the ceremony of unveiling the roll of honour will be performed by Dean Cahill, and laudatory addresses will be delivered. All old boys, parents, and friends are invited to he present both at the cathedral and at the college.
