The Ohinemuri Gold and Silver Mines lias shipped and sold to the Sulphide Corporation. Cockles Creek, 19cwt of selected ore, for £8S 17s 7d.

. The mine superintendent reports that during the week ended September 20, the Camoola low level was advanced 12ft, the total distance driven to date being 405 ft. The country rock is very hard. The intermediate drive on the Queen reef has been advanced 6ft. and the total distance driven north or the main rise is 12ft. Five feet of the reef is exposed, the hangingwa.ll not being m. sight. Kich telluride is being selected, ana the general ore is of a high grade. Some pieces of Quartz showing free gold were eecured from the general ore. The north rise on the Queen reef has been broken out -'t and the total height risen from the backer' the level is lift. Good bands of rich telluride are showing. This rise is in virgin country a- i by extending it to the surface, it will devoop the north extension on the wueen. reef.
