THE FORTHCOMING ELECTION
HON. G. FOWLDS'S CAMPAIGN. A largely-attended meeting of friends and supporters of the Hon. Georce fowlds, a candidate for the Grey Lynn seat, was held in the Wesley Hall Newton, last evening* Mr. W. J. Hpld'sworth presided. Mr. Fowlds briefly outlined his policy, and five committees were formed, in various parts of the district Mr. J. Jenkins was appointed chairman of committees, and Mr. T. L. Thompson organising secretary.
