SUCCESS OF "PEOPLE'S DAY." The Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral Society's annual show was concluded at Pukekohe on Saturday, People's Day, which proved a great success. It is estimated that approximately 6000 people attended,' the gato takings amounted to about £217. The grand parade was a special feature, tho stock being much admired. Soveral falls occurred during tho competitions, but in each instance horse and rider escaped unscathed.
