HE GREY ELECTION.
-O MR. WEBB A CANDIDATE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] G REYMOUTH, Wednesday. In compliance with a request from the Labour Party, .Mr. P. C. Webb has definitely announced his candidature for the Grey seat. Speaking in the Opera House last night, he said he stood the avowed enemy of the Government, which he invited to come to the electorate and help to vote him out. He hoped ihe election would not be conducted on a " win-the-war cry, but as a test of approval or otherwise of the National Government's policy, the cost of living and war measures particularly.
