WAITEMATA AFFAIRS.
The VVaitemata, Chamber of Commerce met last evening. There were present: Me.-srs. W. S. Stone, president, S. G. Vailo. J. Lowe, A. H. Gen-til, J. W. Naylor, D. inisson, F. W. Casbolt, and 1!. Lane. It was resolved that a special meeting be called immediately after the close of the general meeting in June to discuss any alterations to the rules that 'may be deemed advisable. The resignation of Mr. W. Miller, as member of the chamber, was accepted if.li regret. It wan resolved to forward a subsoript'on to the Auckland Provincial Industrial Association. The question of the erection of an enrl.isod pavilion on Cheltenham Beach, suitable for dancing and a band rotunda, was referred to the council to report to the next general meeting.
