MINISTERS IN AUCKLAND.
The Hon. A. M. Myers, Minister for Cus. Toms and Munitions, was engaged yester. • day morning in attending to several Departmental matters. In the afternoon he attended tho Anzac memorial service in the Town Hall, and last evening he was present at the dinner to tho soldiers and the subsequent concert. This afternoon Mr. Myers will attend the formal opening of the new Auckland Boys' Gramma?, School.
The Hon. J. A. Eanai, Minister for Education, spent yesterday morning in discussing matters in connection with the Auckland Education Board district with the chairman of the board, Mr. G. J. Garland. In the afternoon he attended tho Anzac memorial service in the Town Hall. He was also present at the service in St. Matthew's Church. This afternoon Mr. Hanaii will speak at the opening ceremony in connection with the new Auckland Bovs' Grammar School. the Hon. J. Allen, 'Minister for Defence, is due to arrive in Auckland to-day. The Hoi l . Dr. Pomade, member of tln> Executive representing tho Maori race? arrived in Auckland by yesterday morning's Wellington express. He is staying at the Grand Hotel. The Hon. A. L. Herdman, AttorneyGeneral, was to join yesterday's mid-daft south-bound Main Trunk express at Waimarino, on bis return to Wellington.
