By Telegraph—Press Association— (Received September 17. 9.55 p.m.) London, September 16. •^ : vr% The Athens correspondent of the London Daily Chronicle states ':T. that the Turkish mission to Berlin pointed out the danger of disaster unless immediate German assistance were sent to Turkey. The news caused consternation in Austria and Germany, where it- was known ~-v ' to be impossible to help Turkey. The German General Staff planned -j to : penetrate to Odessa and assist Turkey in the Black Sea. The scheme failed, and it is now found to be impossible to withdraw A.. troops to attack Servia.
