The first vote was Daniell and Harkness, five each; Jones, four. At the second vote Mr. Daniell received nine votes and Mr. Harkness five.

Greymouth, Wednesday.
At to-night's meeting of the Greymonth Harbour Board. Mr. Felix Campbell was re-elected chairman. It was decided to get Mr. Maxwell, engineer, to report on a scheme for a deep *ea harbour at Greymouth. '
