OBITUARY.
MR. W. C. TIDMARSH.
Inn death occurred at Mangero, Cross- | lag. Olahuhu. on Tuesday, of Mr. William j Collins Tidraarsh, eldest son of Mr. H. H. I Tidmarsh. at the ago of 21 years. deceased entered the Auckland Grammar School as a junior district scholar in 1907, and secured fourth place in the senior district scholarships in 1909. He secured several prizes for languages, and in his last year secured the second highest marks awarded for languages at the school for a period of 10 years. At the University, where he specialised in languages, he performed the exceptional feat of gaining premiums m English, Latin and French in Jus first vear.
