Times and Sydney Sun Services. CReceived January 31. 5.40 p.m.)
London, January 81.
The net result of the International Socialist Peace Congress in Copenhagen is a resolution directing the attention of workers, particularly those of the belligerent countries, to the principles of international solidarity, and a proletarian sense of justice as to stopping a war " caused by capitalism." The conference protests against the violation of Belgium, and expects all Social Democrats to vehemently oppose its forcible annexation.
The Congress regarded the Trafalgar Square demonstration as a premature movement. The Congre&s is . deliberating privately. Three thousand citizens attended a meeting in the Town Hall in favour of stopping the war.
