STOCKS AND SHARES.
BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY. Tire shareroarket continued to be dull yesterday. In standard stocks Bank of New Zealanda (fully paid) were looked for at £15, and sellers asked £15 ss. New Zealand Insurances were on offer at £5 12s 6d. A sale of Auckland Trams ipref.) was reported at 21s. Waihi mining shares were available at 33s 9d, buyers quoting 33s 3d. Talismans were quoted at 27s 6d by sellers and at 27s by buyers. Waihi Grand Junctions were placed at 23s 9d and 23s 6d.
