New York, March 2. Unemployed in hundreds on Sunday entered the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, stopping the service. The pastor addressed the men, whose leader stated that they were hungry and cold.

Acting on the pastor's suggestion, the' congregation subscribed a con siderable sum on the spot, providing food and lodging for everyone throughout the night.
