FIRES IN TIMARU.

INCENDIARISM SUSPECTED. [BY TELEGRAPH.— press ASSOCIATION.] Timauu, Monday. Several fires have been discovered in the I town lately, fortmately early enough in' most cases to prevent serious damage. The circumstances point plainly to incendiarism. The latest occurred on Saturday night, when a piece ©f matting saturated with turpentine was found burning in one of the rooms in the Waimataitai School. Had a party of scouts not gone to the school for practice the fire might not have been found.
