Final leave to appeal to the Privy Council was granted in Reed v. tho Equitable Life Assurance Society. The Sugar Trust ease is fixed for April 14. The first eaao was Rich and others v. Johnson, an appeal from Sir Robert Stout's judgment in a claim for breach of contract. It was claimed that tho agreement was that appellant should graze respondent's cattlo in a special paddock, the reason being that the other land was infested with tall fescue, which is harmful to cattlo and affected with ergot. Sir Robert Stout's judgment wais that through appellant's negligence the cattle were allowed to feed on tall fescue, and he awarded £105 damages. Mr. J. R. Reed, K.O-, and Mr. Endean appear for appellant, and Mr. Gillies for tho respondent. Argument is proceeding.
