STRINGY HAM.
Sir, —I would be glad if through your [ columns ' our grocers would try to explain ' the cause for tno stringy ham That has now i been soiling - for some considerable time. ■ The handsome selling price of Is 2d per , lb is surely not against their procuring a ' good brand. Now and again one manages , to get a fairly good piece, but the average quality is poor at the prioe.
