Thb Newmarket Borough Council met last night. There were present: The Mayor (Mr. I). Teed) and ttessri. S. Donaldson, A. Whittome, J. O'Meara, 0. I»eek, and W. tfookea. : Permission wu granted the St. John Ambulance Association to make & collection in the borough in aid of the new ambulance funds on April 19. It was decided to improve the lighting of Xhyber Fans Rood by two additional lights, and the removal of another light to a different position on the road. .
