CHAPEL-STREET SCHOOL.

INDIGNATION MEETING CALLED.

Iv support of its protest against the decision of the Education Board to close the Chapel-street school, the City Schools Committee decided at a special meeting yesterday to call r. public meeting of the resident householders, of Auckland. The meeting will be held on Monday, in St. James's Hall. Old scholars of the school are to be particularly invited to be present, and arrangements have been made for a number of prominent citizens of Auckland, and exclmirmen and members of the committee to address the meeting.
