GREATER NEW PLYMOUTH.

[BY telegraph.— association.]

New Plymouth, Wednesday. The Greater New Plymouth movement was advanced another stage to-day, when a poll was' taken to include a portion of the county, containing Vogeltown, Frankley Park, and West Town. The voting was 135 in favour, and 29 against. A short time ago the Fitzroy town district was merged, and next week a poll will be. taken to include St. Aubyn town district. This will complete the scheme, and New Plymouth will contain a population of over 8000.
