Eighty men were cut off from the exits, but many made a dash for safety, escaping in the nick of time. ; Six dead bodies have been recovered, and it is believed that 40 are still entombed. Rescuers are actively at work, but $b is not believed that there is much hope of the entombed men being brought out alive. fSeeeiTOd February 26. 12.25 a.m.) Oklahoma, February 25. 'All excepting nine of the men have been rescued from the Western Coal Company's mine. Eight bodies have been recovered. The mine is being flooded to extinguish the fire. It is not believed that any of the men have been left alive in the mine.
