MISS DUFvACK BREAKS ANOTHER RECORD. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— / (Received February 25, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 25. The 100 yds ladies' swimming championship of Australia was won by Miss Durack (New South Wales), with Miss Wylie (New South Wales) second, and Miss Beaurepairc (Victoria) third. Miss Durack won by syds, in lm. 95., a world's record. [The previous ladies' world's record for 100 yds was lm. 13 3-55., held by two English swimmers. Miss Durack visited Auckland with the Sydney Club's team a few weeks ago, and showed herself to be a very fine swimmer. She then established new world's records— ladies— of 31s. for 50yds, and 6m. 425. for 440vds. After her return to Sydney she again swam 50yds in 31s.]
