Dr. Percival Farrar's Chaplaincies to the King and Queen Alexandra. Mrs. Farrar's brother recently arrived from America. He cannot trace his sister or her husband since they left Sandringham Rectory.

KING INFORMED BY WIRELESS. The gazette announcement concerning the dismissal of Dr. Percival Farrar from the position of private chaplain to the King was cabled to Australia some little time ago. Tho Australian message added: "The announcement has caused a great sensation in court and ecclesiastical ' circles. Dr. Farrar is now. a fugitive, and his whereabouts are unknown. He was advised to leave England a fortnight ago, when whispers of the grave charges preferred against him became known. _No official explanation as to the cause of his dismissal has been given, hut it is known that on the advice of the chaplain's accusers the Admiralty 'sont from London a wireless message to the King on the Medina (en route to India) stating the facts of the ease. Tho King's reply was in the nature of an instruction for the immediate dismissal of the chaplain."
