A commotion has been- caused .in the Spanish Court by the expressed intention of the Infanta Eulalia (whose marriage with Prince Antoine, of the House of Orleans, was dissolved in 1000) to publish a book. The. Infanta is King Alfonso's aunt, and is aged •17. , ... Pending perusal of the book, and fearing that the Spanish Court has been assailed, King Alfonso has ordered his aunt, who is domiciled in Paris, to suspend publication. It is understood that the book bears, from a Radical feminist' standpoint, upon socialism, religion, and marriage, placing the character of honesty foremost. • The Infanta Eulalia persists in her intention to publish the book, and declares that she will relinquish Court life.
