PROHIBITION AND HOME-MADE WINE.

Sir, Under the above beading in your issue, of the 27th iust. Sir John l«'indlay is quoted as saying, "As soon as prohibition comes into force it will become unlawful for any person to manufacture home-made wine, or any other alcoholic drink." This, of course, assumes that all wines are intoxicating but it is well known that there is a lot of non : intoxicating wine made and sold in. Australia to-day, and it seems to me that under prohibition there should be a very 'big opening for it in New Zealand. I think it is only right that it should be pointed out to your readers that the manufacture and sale of this wine would not be interfered with by prohibition. Oeitio.
