MANY FURTHER ALTERATIONS BENEFITS FOR SERVANTS. By Telegraph.—rre«» Association.— Copyright (Received November 27. 10.25 p.m.) v * London, November -27. The House of Commons has received 70,000 protests against the National Insurance Bill from servants. The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Lloyd-George, has given notice of 220 new amendments to the Bill, including reorganisation of the benefits for servants. He has also conferred with the friendly societies, and has agreed that full sickness benefit for 26 weeks should be substituted for the alternatives previously proposed.
