PROVED BUT BRASS.

At the District Court in Melbourne on Tuesday A. H. Jackson proceeded against W. James, contractor, for the recovery of £1 6s, for professional services ,as an analyst. Jackson said that at ' the request of James ho had made: an analysis of a piece of " yellow metal, which had been recovered from the alleged Spanish galleon discovered near Warrnambool. The metal was brass. An order for the amount claimed was made.
