At, a sale of thoroughbreds held in NewYork recently a two-year-old filly named Bashti, by Flying Fox's son Adam, was purchased by Mr. M. Creerv for the huge sum of £6000. She holds engagements in France and England next season, and at the time of the sale she was favourite for the Futurity Stakes. It is said that Mr. M. Creery secured her on behalf of Mr. Whitney, and that she is to be sent to England to be trained.
