SALE OF TAUMATA" ESTATE. The Taumata Estate, situated at corner of Kingsland and Mount Albert Roads, within ten minutes' walk of the tram terminus, and subdivided into 220 allotments, was offered for sale by auction on Saturday by Mr. Louis Lewis, on behalf of Messrs. Paul Hansen and Co. The sale was commenced on the ground in the afternoon, and continued at Messrs. Hansen and Co.'s rooms in the evening, and at both places there was a large attendance of buyers and bidding was spirited. The terms were £10 deposit, £10 in three months, and £5 in six months,' the balance in four years at four per cent. During the day 46 sections changed hands.
